The standard embarkation and disembarkation point for SV Iron Monkey is La Lonja Marina, Palma de Mallorca.
Exact berth and meeting details will be provided prior to departure.
Alternative pick-up or drop-off locations may be arranged upon request, subject to weather conditions, operational feasibility, and berth availability. Please note that: Additional fuel costs, cruising time, and marina fees may apply.
A booking is confirmed once the agreed deposit or full payment has been received. The remaining balance must be paid before the charter date according to the booking confirmation.
The skipper has full authority onboard and is responsible for the safety of the vessel and all guests. All guests must follow the skipper’s instructions at all times.
The skipper may modify the route, itinerary, or anchorage location if required due to weather, safety, or operational reasons.
Sailing is an outdoor activity and weather conditions may vary.
The charter will proceed under all safe and navigable weather conditions. Cloud cover, moderate wind, or light rain do not constitute grounds for cancellation.
If weather conditions are considered unsafe for navigation, the skipper may delay departure, adjust the itinerary, reschedule the charter, or cancel the charter.
If the charter cannot take place due to unsafe conditions, guests may choose between rescheduling or receiving a full refund.
Guests must be able to board the vessel safely and move comfortably onboard. Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times.
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. The operator cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to personal items.
To maintain a pleasant environment onboard:
No drugs permitted onboard
No red wine onboard
Smoking only in designated areas
Respectful behaviour towards crew and other guests is expected
The skipper reserves the right to terminate the charter without refund in case of unsafe, intoxicated, or inappropriate behaviour.
Cabin allocation will be arranged prior to departure. Guests are asked to respect reasonable quiet hours while at anchor or in marina.
The skipper may relocate the vessel during the night if required for safety or weather conditions.
The yacht is fully insured according to Spanish maritime regulations. Liability is limited to the value of the booked charter.
Food and beverages are not included in the charter price unless explicitly stated in the booking confirmation.
Guests may:
Bring their own food and drinks onboard, or
Request catering or provisioning arrangements in advance.
If provisioning is arranged by the operator, the cost of food, beverages, and any associated service fees will be charged to the guest prior to departure or as agreed.
Guests are kindly asked to inform the operator in advance of any dietary requirements or allergies.
During overnight charters, the yacht will normally spend the night at anchor in a suitable and sheltered location, allowing guests to enjoy the quiet and atmosphere of the sea.
Marina berths outside the home marina may be arranged upon request but are subject to availability and additional harbour fees, which are not included in the charter price.
For safety and comfort, the skipper reserves the right to change the planned anchorage or move the vessel during the night if weather or sea conditions require it.
If the guest cancels the booking, the following conditions apply:
More than 14 days before departure → Full refund
7–14 days before departure → 50% refund
Less than 7 days before departure → No refund
No-show → No refund
Rescheduling may be offered subject to availability.
In the unlikely event that the charter must be cancelled due to:
Unsafe weather conditions
Technical issues with the vessel
Force majeure
Port authority restrictions
Guests will be offered the choice of:
Rescheduling the charter, subject to availability, or
Receiving a full refund
Cloud cover, moderate wind, or light rain do not qualify as grounds for cancellation. Sailing activities will proceed under all safe and navigable weather conditions, as determined by the skipper.
If the charter is terminated early due to guest behaviour, violation of safety instructions, or breach of the charter conditions, no refund will be provided.
